Abstract

A process for the preparation of a polypeptide of the formula ##STR1## wherein A' is Pro, Gly, Asp or Ser; B' is Gly, Asn or Ser; C is Gln, Glu or Asp; D is Asn, Glu or Asp; X' is a residue of amino acid other than Met; E is Gln, Lys or Arg, and Y' is a residue of homoserine or homoserine-lactone, as well as a recombinant DNA and expression plasmid for preparing the polypeptide.
