Abstract
A compatible, single-phase, polyblend comprising I) a polymer which is a polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, or polyvinylidene fluoride, and II) a copolymer comprising from 40 to 99.99 percent by weight of A) a monomeric ester formed between acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and a C1-C10 alcohol, and from 0.01 to 60 percent by weight of B) a monomer of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or methyl, Y is oxygen or -NR.sub.2 - where R.sub.2 is hydrogen or alkyl, and Z is i) a 2-hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole, ii) a 2-hydroxybenzophenone or 2-hydroxyacetophenone, iii) an alpha-cyano-beta,beta-diphenyl, and C) optional other monomers.
