Abstract

An oxazoline derivative having the formula: ##STR1## which is useful for control of insects, mites and/or ticks. R.sub.1 is H, halo, (halo) alkyl, alkoxy alkyl, (halo) alkoxy alkyl, (halo) alkyl thio, (halo) cycloalkyl, alkylcycloalkyl, (halo) cycloalkoxy, alkylcycloalkoxy or (R.sup.5) phenyl, phenoxyl or phenylthio or (R.sup.5) pyridyl, pyridoxyl or pyridylthio, R.sub.3 is H or methyl, R.sub.4 is phenyl or mono or disubstituted phenyl.
