Abstract
A method for improving the quality of sleep in a chronic renal failure patient is provided. To this end, the present invention provides a method of using branched-chain amino acids as an effective therapy for improving the quality of sleep. The branched-chain amino acid composition can be administered either parenterally or enterally, and can be administered alone or in combination with other nutrients.
