Abstract

An aromatic compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are, the same or different, a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a methyl group with the proviso that either one of R.sup.1 or R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom; R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R.sup.4 is a halogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.2 alkyl group or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.2 haloalkyl group, which is useful for control of insect pests.
