Abstract

The present invention relates to certain novel amide compound represented by the formula of ##STR1## wherein A, X, Y, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and l are the same as defined in the present specification, an insecticidal and/or acaricidal composition containing it as an active ingredient, and a method for exterminating insects and/or acarids which comprises applying it as an active ingredient.
