Abstract
Process for the purification of crude .beta.-phenylethyl alcohol by azeotropic distillation in the presence of alkanolamines in which the alkylene chain contains 2 to 4 carbon atoms and is optionally substituted by 1 to 4 C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl groups.
