Abstract
The present embodiments relate to electronic devices, and more particularly to an architecture for a switch that can be implemented using only thin oxide devices, even for high voltage applications. As such, in an enable mode, the switch can pass high voltage levels without any reliability concerns. In addition, a switch having an architecture according to embodiments exhibits a low on resistance across the entire input voltage range. Nevertheless, it can fully turn off while the switch is in a disable mode, with very little leakage current. A switch having an architecture according to embodiments can be particularly useful in parallel connection applications where multiple switches are connected in parallel and only one switch is enabled and the other parallel connected switches are disabled.
