Abstract

Provided is solid electrolytic capacitorincluding: a plurality of capacitor elementseach having anode partand cathode part, capacitor elementsbeing stacked along first direction D; and two or more junctionseach joining and electrically connecting the stacked anode parts, each of the two or more junctions extending along first direction D. A difference L−Lismm or less, anode parthaving a dimension L[mm] in third direction Dperpendicular to each of the first direction and second direction Dthat is a direction from anode partto cathode part, two or more junctionshaving a total dimension L[mm] of maximum diameters in third direction D. A relationship of b≥a/2 holds, where a [mm] represents a maximum diameter of each of the two or more junctionsin third direction Din a predetermined cross section perpendicular to second direction Dof capacitor element, and b [mm] represents a shortest distance between an end of anode partand corresponding one of the two or more junctionsin third direction D. This configuration enables improvement in joint quality of the anode part.
