Abstract
In an embodiment, a display video selection apparatus is a display video selection apparatus for selecting a predetermined number of remote spectator videos to be displayed on a video display apparatus installed at an event venue from among a plurality of remote spectator videos taken at one or more remote venues and transmitted via a communication network, and includes a video status determination unit and a video output content determination unit. The video status determination unit analyzes the remote spectator videos and quantifies the excitement level of the remote spectators shown in the remote spectator video. The video output content determination unit selects the predetermined number of remote spectator videos in descending order of values of the excitement levels.
