A light diffusion sheetincludes: a first surfaceas a light emission surface; and a second surfaceas a light incident surface. The first surfaceincludes a plurality of recesseseach having an approximately inverted polygonal pyramid shape. The second surfacehas an arithmetic mean roughness of 3.0 μm or less. The light diffusion sheethas an internal haze of 1.5% or less.
