Abstract
A color filter substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display panel are disclosed. The color filter substrate includes a substrate, a black matrix layer, a first filler, and a positioning mark. The black matrix layer is arranged on the substrate, and a groove is defined in the black matrix layer and arranged around a display area of the substrate. The filler is arranged inside the groove. The positioning mark is arranged inside the groove, and has a different color from that of the first filler.
