Abstract
One example discloses a first multi-link device (MLD) within a wireless local area network (WLAN), including: a controller configured to receive a multi-link setup request for the first MLD to associate with a second MLD on a first set of PHY-layer links; wherein the controller is configured to transmit a response to the second MLD; and wherein the response associates the first MLD with the second MLD on a second set of PHY-layer links.
