Abstract
A method is provided for data communication between at least one subregion of an FPGA and another region, in which the data communication is resource efficient. This is achieved by the fact that the data communication, i.e., the reading and writing of a Block RAM from a location to any Block RAM or from any Block RAM to any Block RAM of the FPGA takes place via command sequences of an internal configuration interface of the FPGA.
