Abstract
The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition and probiotics against bacterial and fungal pathogens of fish. In particular, the invention pertains to a novel strain of the bacterial speciessubsp.1214-CHY4 (ATCC accession number PTA-126941), the cells, cell broth, and novel metabolites produced from the bacterial strain that can inhibit the growth of a variety of fish pathogens.
