Abstract
Particularly effective prebiotic-probiotic combinations including a novel probiotic,subsp, and XOS andwith Xylo-oligosaccharides are provided, together with methods of identifying synergistic probiotic-prebiotic combinations. Additionally, kits comprising the probiotic(s) and prebiotic(s) are also provided.
