Abstract

The present invention is directed to a commercial tomato, namelyplant, which is resistant to an arthropod pest comprising in its genome introgressed sequences fromconferring resistance to said arthropod pest, wherein the introgressed sequences are chosen from those present in the genome of a plant of the line TUT115 NCIMB accession number 42109. The commercial tomato of the invention is preferably resistant to ToMV (Tomato Mosaic Virus). The introgressed sequences are preferably found at one or more of the loci defined by the following SNP markers: SNP solcap_snp_sl_18619 on chromosome 1 and SNP solcap_snp_sl_12348 on chromosome 1.
