The present invention relates to an apparatus () for use during implanting at least one medical implant () at an implantation site within a patient's body, wherein the apparatus () comprises an aligning device () for aligning the apparatus () at the implantation site, wherein the aligning device () is capable of being transferred from a non-aligning position into an aligning position.
