Abstract
A connection unit for connecting an external device to a main device is provided. A connection unitincludes a main body partincluding a main connector terminalto be connected to a connection port of a main device, a sub body partincluding a sub connector terminalto be connected to a connection port of an external device, and an electric cableelectrically connecting the main connector terminalto the sub connector terminal. The main body partand the sub body partare united by engaging by an engaging means that is engageable and disengageable, and vary a relative position between the main body partand the sub body partby disengaging by the engaging means. The external device is electrically connected to the main device and is simultaneously attached to the main device by connecting the main device to the external device with the connection unitwhile the main body partand the sub body partare united.
