Abstract

Methods are provided for saccharifying a starch substrate, comprising contacting the starch substrate with a glucoamylase consisting or comprising of the amino acid sequence ofglucoamylase (Fv-GA) and further contacting the starch substrate with at least one additional glucoamylase. Additional methods are provided for saccharifying and fermenting a starch substrate to produce an end product, a biochemical end product and a fermentable beverage using a combination of Fv-GA and at least one additional glucoamylase.
