Abstract
The invention relates to a valve fitment () for a collapsible fluid dispensing package for dispensing fluid by relative pressure present in the package; the valve fitment comprising: —at least a compressible wedge-like spout (); —a sealing base () arranged for sealing engagement with the container at a seal edge (); wherein the wedge-like spout () is located within a passage () formed through the sealing base () and, wherein sealing base is preferably of higher rigidity than the wedge-like spout (). The invention also relates to a fluid dispensing package () comprising the valve fitment ().
