Abstract
An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having a base portion and a tongue portion; plural contacts affixed to the insulative housing and exposed to the tongue portion; an outer cover enclosing the insulative housing, the outer cover having plural peripheral grooves () open at a front face thereof; and a sealing element having plural protrusions () secured to the plural grooves.
