Abstract
A card clothing wire () for use on drums in cards has a root () and a blade () having an overall height of the wire (h) of 1.5 mm to 5 mm. The blade () is provided with teeth () having a tooth depth (h) of 0.35 mm to 1.0 mm, and having a tooth pitch (p) of 1.5 mm to 3 mm.
