The present invention provides a composition for an oily foamable aerosol, characterized in that the composition comprises a fat or oil, and a polyglycerol fatty acid ester and/or an organic and fatty acid esters of glycerol; and an aerosol comprising the composition as defined in above and a propellant.

An inhibitor for crystal growth of fats and oils, containing a polyglycerol fatty acid ester, which is an esterified product formed between a polyglycerol and a fatty acid, the polyglycerol having a hydroxyl value of 850 mg KOH/g or less and a ratio of primary hydroxyl groups to all the hydroxyl groups of the polyglycerol of 50% or more, wherein the polyglycerol fatty acid ester has a hydroxyl value of 100 mg KOH/g or less. Since the inhibitor for crystal growth of fats and oils of the present invention can inhibit crystal growth of fats and oils by adding the inhibitor to fats and oils, storage property of the fats and oils in a refrigerator, cold climates, or the like, so that the inhibitor can be suitably used in liquid fats and oils such as salad oil for which transparency is important.

An impact resistance enhancing agent for a polylactic acid-based resin, containing a polyglycerol fatty acid ester made from a fatty acid containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of caprylic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and oleic acid, in an amount of 80% by mass or more of the constituting fatty acids, and a polyglycerol having an average degree of polymerization of from 2 to 40. The polylactic acid-based resin composition containing an impact resistance enhancing agent for a polylactic acid-based resin of the present invention has excellent impact resistance properties, so that the resin composition can be suitably used in, for example, agricultural materials, food wrapping materials, and other wrapping materials, and the like.

Liquid cleansing oils capable of mixing well with old makeup and being easily rinsed off with water have come into the mainstream in recent years. An object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition which easily mixes with old makeup, enables the old makeup to be lifted off rapidly, demonstrates superior cleansing strength even if the skin is wet, demonstrates satisfactory ease of rinsing, has a satisfactory feel during use without leaving an oily sensation after washing, and demonstrates superior moisture dispersivity. The present invention achieves this object by comprising a nonionic surfactant and a polyvalent alcohol fatty acid ester of a fatty acid having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and a polyvalent alcohol having 2 to 4 hydroxyl groups; wherein, the total amount of monoester and diester in the ester is 50% or more, and the weight ratio of monoester to diester is 4 or less.

Among cleansing cosmetics for the purpose of removing makeup, the aqueous type cleansing cosmetics containing no oil at all or a small amount of oil have had a disadvantage that remover capability is weak even though they give reduced oily feel after cleansing. A composition for cosmetics is characterized in that the composition for cosmetics comprises a polyglycerol fatty acid ester obtained from a polyglycerol having a hydroxyl value of 1200 or less and primary hydroxyl groups in an amount of 50% or more of the total hydroxyl groups and one or more kinds of fatty acids having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, is excellent in stability, and has a viscosity of from 100 to 5000 mPa&#xb7;s at 25&#xb0; C., and whereby the above-mentioned problems are solved.
