Still other methods comprise co-administering to a subject having a cancer characterized by a solid tumor (a) an immunotherapeutic composition targeting an antigen or ligand on the tumor cell; and (b) a compound or reagent that promotes the use of fatty acid catabolism by tumor antigen-specific T cells in the tumor microenvironment and/or T cells pretreated ex vivo with the fatty acid catabolism promoter to condition the T cell to use fatty acids rather than glucose for energy production for adoptive cell transfer. Both methods may also employ co-administration of a checkpoint inhibitor.

The particles includes a first category of particles and a second category of particles. For each of the particles, Intensities of a first group of optical signals, which includes at least two optical signals selected from the multiple optical signals, and a pulse width of a second group of optical signals, which includes at least one optical signal selected from the multiple optical signals are acquired. For each of the particles, one or more reinforcement signals related to the particle are calculated based on an intensity of a first optical signal selected from the first group of optical signals and a pulse width of a second optical signal selected from the second group of optical signals, where the first optical signal is as same as or different from the second optical signal. The first category of particles and the second category of particles are distinguished from each other based at least partially on the one or more reinforcement signals related to each of the particles.

The technology relates to generating a wireless network access point model for determining locations within an area. In one example, a plurality of scan vectors, each scan vector representing a set of signal strengths for a set of wireless network access point identifiers and being associated with a location within the area at which a mobile device moving through the area measured the set of signal strengths are received. A set of clusters is generated by iterating through a split phase until the number of clusters in the set of clusters equals a maximum number of clusters or there are no bad scan vectors identified. A bad scan vector may include a vector having a vector difference from a center of a cluster to which that vector is assigned is less than a minimum similarity value. The set of cluster is then used to generate the model of the area.
