An electrolytic ion-water production apparatus in which purified water without residual chlorine is electrolyzed to produce alkaline-ion water without any chloride smell of lime in use of the apparatus, and in which a mixture of purified water treated by a water purifier and tap water containing residual chlorine is electrolyzed to produce alkaline-ion water containing sodium hypochlorous acid (NaOCl) of low concentration and to retain the produced alkaline-ion water in an introduction passage for reliably preventing propagation of microbes.

Production system of electrolyzed water

In a production system of electrolyzed water A, alkaline water and acid water produced in electrode chambers of an electrolyzer are discharged through discharge conduits connected to the electrode chambers through a flow passage changeover valve . The discharge conduits are provided with manually operated faucets and , respectively. When the faucets of either one of the discharge conduits and was opened, the electrolyzed water produced in the electrode chamber communicated with the discharge conduit opened at its faucets is discharged. Simultaneously, a drain valve provided on a drain conduit connected to the discharge conduit opened at its faucets is closed while a drain valve provided on a drain conduit connected to the discharge conduit closed at its faucets is intermittently opened.

An electrolytic cell composed of a cell housing formed at a lower portion thereof with a pair of inlet ports and at an upper portion thereof with a pair of outlet ports, a diaphragm assembled within the housing to subdivide the interior of the housing into a pair of reaction chambers respectively in open communication with the inlet and outlet ports, and a pair of electrode plates disposed within the reaction chambers respectively and opposed to one another through the diaphragm, wherein the electrode plates are applied with electric current to electrolyze water to be treated flowing therethrough from the inlet ports toward the outlet ports, a horizontal partition is provided in the respective reaction chambers to form a plurality of reaction passages between the diaphragm and the respective electrode plates in such a manner that the reaction passages are opened at their opposite ends, a pair of communication passages are formed at opposite sides of each of the electrode plates to alternately connect the opposite ends of the reaction passages therethrough so that a meander passage is formed by the reaction passages and communication passages, and an inlet cavity in open communication with the inlet port is formed at one side of the respective electrode plates and connected with a lower end of the meander passage, while an outlet cavity in open communication with the outlet port is formed at the other side of the respective electrode plates and connected with an upper end of the meander passage.

An electric control apparatus for a dishwashing machine for controlling the supply and discharge of hot water into and from a wash water storage tank in the machine prior to washing operation. The electric control apparatus is designed to supply hot water into the wash tank from a supply source of hot water in response to operation of a power source switch and maintain the supply of hot water into the wash tank during first and second predetermined times, to discharge the hot water from the wash tank upon lapse of the first predetermined time and maintain the discharge of hot water during the second predetermined time, to interrupt the supply and discharge of hot water into and from upon lapse of the second predetermined time and maintain the interruption of the supply and discharge of hot water during a third predetermined time, and to discharge the hot water from the wash tank upon lapse of the third predetermined time and maintain the discharge of hot water during a fourth predetermined time.

Electric control apparatus for dishwashing machine

A water droplet collector for collecting drops of dew condensed from the air onto cool surfaces in a high humid compartment such as a cooling storage cabinet formed to store perishable fresh foodstuffs therein. The water droplet collector is composed of a perforated thin plate and a base plate detachably overlapped with the perforated thin plate in such a manner as to form a capillary clearance for attraction of drops of dew condensed on the perforated thin plate. Both the plates are detachably mounted within the high humid compartment in such a manner that the base plate is arranged to receive drops of dew falling from a ceiling of the compartment.

Disclosed is an automatic ice making machine having an ice making section equipped with an evaporator connected to a freezing system, a system for feeding a water to be frozen to said ice making section, an ice formation detector, and an ice releasing unit which releases ice cakes formed in the ice making section upon receipt of ice formation signal from said ice formation detector; characterized in that said ice making machine further comprises an alarm unit which gives an alarm after a predetermined time counted from the starting point of the ice making operation, provided that the ice formation detector outputs no ice formation signal. The alarm unit is designed to give a predetermined alarm sound or sign and also to actuate the ice releasing unit or to stop the operation of the ice making machine. The ice formation detector may be any of temperature detection system, pressure detection system and ice thickness detection system.

Disclosed is an automatic ice making machine having an ice making section with an evaporator connected to a freezing system, a water feed system, an ice releasing unit, and a temperature detector which detects the temperature of the water to be frozen circulated through the water feed system; characterized in that said ice making machine further comprises a protection unit which stops the ice making operation after a predetermined time counted from the starting point of the ice releasing operation, if the temperature of the water to be frozen does not drop below a predetermined level. The automatic ice making machine may have a water level detector for detecting the level of water in a water tank instead of the temperature detector, and a protection unit which stops the ice making operation when the level of the water in the tank of the water feed system does not drop below the predetermined level within a predetermined time counted from the starting point of the ice making operation. These protection unit may have an alarm means which is actuated when the ice making operation is suspended or a means for releasing the protection manually.

Disclosed is an automatic ice making machine having an ice making section, a water feed system, an ice releasing unit and an ice removal detector; characterized in that said ice making machine further comprises a protection unit which stops the ice making operation after a predetermined time counted from the starting point of the ice releasing operation, provided that the ice removal detector outputs no ice removal signal. The protector unit may have an alarm means which is actuated when the ice making operation is suspended for some reasons, or the protector unit may comprise a timer having a normally open contact which is closed when a preset time is counted up thereby, a normally closed contact interposed within one of the power supply lines connected to the ice making machine, and a relay having a normally open contact disposed parallel to the normally open contact of the timer; wherein the relay allows its normally closed contact to assume an open posture when the normally open contact of the timer is closed to simultaneously allow its normally open contact to assume a closed posture to retain continuity on its own.

Dislosed is an automatic ice making machine having a constitution in which a water to be frozen stored within a water tank is fed under pressure to a distributor pipe via a pump and injected through injection holes formed along said distributor pipe into a freezing chamber cooled by an evaporator connected to a freezing system, to form ice cakes within said freezing chamber, while part of the freezing water which is not frozen within said freezing chamber is fed back to said water tank for recirculation, characterized in that said ice making chamber consists of a first freezing chamber having formed thereon a multiplicity of downwardly opening first freezing cells of a predetermined recessed shape, with said evaporator disposed on its rear surface; and a second freezing chamber having formed thereon a multiplicity of second freezing cells of a predetermined recessed shape, which is disposed relative to said first freezing chamber such that the former may be moved closer to or spaced from the latter, wherein said second freezing cells close the corresponding first freezing cells from downside, respectively, to define ice forming spaces of a spherical or polyhedral shape therebetween during the freezing operation.

A thermo-hygrostatic refrigerator has a cabinet defining a storage room for cooling and storing food materials therein, a refrigeration unit composed of a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator and other refrigeration systems, a brine tank storing brine therein and including the evaporator on the bottom thereof, an accumulator connected to the outlet side of the evaporator and having at least one portion immersed in the brine, a cooler mounted within the storage room and operatively connected to the outlet side of the evaporator and having at least one portion immersed in the brine, a cooler mounted within the storage room and operatively connected to the brine tank to circulate the brine therethrough to cool the interior of the storage room, and a sensing device mounted within the brine tank for monitoring presence of brine circulation.

Thermo-hygrostatic refrigerators

An automatic ice making machine or apparatus of the type in which ice-making water is directed in jets upwards towards a freezing grid or chamber having a large number of freezing cells. The apparatus has an ice-cutting frame having second partitioning plates at a preset spacing from and in opposition to the lower ends of the first partitioning plates of said freezing cells, and a heating means provided to the cutting frame. The second partitioning plates are heated by a hot gas pipe for melting and cutting the ice formed in the freezing cells the end of the ice formation state and the end of harvesting state being detected by a temperature sensor provided on the ice cutting frame.
