An apparatus and method utilizing multiple tiers of pinch rollers that are vertically stacked one beneath the other, where each tier is designed to receive a wing portion and convey the wing portion from one start end of the roller pair to the distal opposing exit end along the line of engagement of the roller pair. The apparatus is designed with channeling chutes proximately adjacent each exit end for each roller pair tier. The channeling chute is position to receive the wing portion as it falls off the exit end and further has a vertically oriented channel to direct the falling wing to engage the start end of the roller pair below.

Method and apparatus for removing feathers from a segmented wing

An apparatus and method for removing poultry tenders from at least partial poultry carcasses. The apparatus and method preferably employ an elongate pair of stationary blades through which the carcasses are conducted prior to being processed by at least a pair of plows positioned on apposite sides of the keels of the carcasses. The edges of the elongate blades are spaced apart and inclined such that the blade edges receive the keels therebetween and guide the carcasses in their path of travel while cutting into the carcasses along each side of the keels.

The method and apparatus comprises at least one wing tip puller which further comprises upper and lower wing guides and a pinch roller adjacent said wing guides where the upper and lower wing guides are designed to receive a wing therebetween and the wing guide is further designed to laterally present the wing tip to the pinch roller.

The inventive method comprises the steps of (a) placing the poultry paws in a rotating wheel and (b) cutting the poultry paws as the paws are carried by the rotating wheel. Apparatus and method for cutting poultry paws

An apparatus for transferring carcasses from a shackle conveyor to a processing device wherein the shackle conveyor includes a plurality of shackles for continuously conveying the carcasses and the processing device includes a plurality of modules for continuously carrying the carcasses through the processing device. The inventive apparatus comprises a rotatable structure preferably having notches for receiving and retaining the legs of the carcasses. The rotatable structure is operable such that, as the rotatable structure rotates, the legs of the carcasses are received from the shackles by the rotatable structure and the rotatable structure then delivers the carcasses to the carrier modules.
