The apparatus includes: a first scanning unit, a second scanning unit, a data signal source and a controller. The display panel includes pixel units, and for the same column of pixel units, the odd numbered rows of pixel units and the even numbered rows of pixel units are connected with different data lines, respectively, and the individual pixel units of the same row are connected with the same grid line, respectively. The first scanning unit may be configured for receiving and transmitting a first scanning signal for scanning odd numbered rows of grid lines, and the second scanning unit may be configured for receiving and transmitting a second scanning signal for scanning even numbered rows of grid lines.
