A three-dimensional printing device including a processing unit and a mixing unit is provided. The processing unit formats a sliced file into a printing head signal file, wherein the sliced file and the printing head signal file correspond to a three-dimensional structure, the sliced file includes layer data corresponding to a plurality of layers of the three-dimensional structure, and the print head signal file includes layer printing data corresponding to the layers of the three-dimensional structure. The mixing unit combines part of the layer data in the sliced file and part of the layer printing data in the printing head signal file to derive a hybrid file, and stores the hybrid file in a storing unit of the electronic device, wherein the layer data and the layer printing data in the hybrid file correspond to different layers of the three-dimensional structure.

Three-dimensional printing device and method for storing printing data thereof

A method for arranging joints to a 3D model is present. The method first obtains a 3D file, and executes a slice process to a 3D model recorded in the 3D file for obtaining a plurality of cross sections. During the slice process, the method determines if differences between each two cross-section areas of two adjoined cross sections is larger than a threshold. If the difference between the two cross-section areas of two adjoined cross sections is larger than the threshold, the method obtains a corresponding joint data from a database, and arranges the joint data into a position between the two adjoined cross sections. The method finally outputs the arranged 3D model to a 3D printer.

A printing apparatus, a method, and a system for previewing printing are provided. The provided method includes receiving a printing job; determining whether the printing job includes a preview printing command; storing a printing data when the printing job includes the preview printing command; printing the printing data; when the printing job is determined to include the preview printing command, determining whether to continue executing the printing job; and when it is determined to continue executing the printing job, continuing to print the printing data. Thus, after the printing data is printed, a user can directly review the printing quality when he or she is beside the printing apparatus, and the user can continue to execute the printing job.

Printing apparatus, method and system for previewing printing

A multi-function printer (MFP) is provided, which includes a user interface, a storage unit, a network module and a control module. The user interface is served as an input interface and a display interface of the MFP. The storage unit stores address information and at least one really simple syndication (RSS) message of at least one subscription website on the Internet. The network module enables the MFP to have network connectivity. The control module is served as an operation core of the MFP, and has a built-in RSS reader. The control module is periodically connected to the subscription website through the network module according to the address information of the subscription website, and reads the at least one RSS message of the subscription website through the RSS reader for storing into the storage unit and further displaying the at least one stored RSS message on the user interface.
