A method of preparing a synthetic butter flavor having enriched milk flavor and butter flavor, containing the steps of hydrolysing a milk fat with a lipolytic enzyme and then oxidizing the hydrolysate of the milk fat by ultraviolet irradiation. The hydrolysate of the milk fat is preferably oxidized by ultraviolet irradiation to have a POV of 1.5 to 9.0, in particular 4.0 to 7.5.

A noise reducing circuit for a receiver such as an FM receiver which is improved in noise reducing effect while reducing an unfamiliar feeling to and an erroneous operation of the receiver. Noise reducing circuit for a receiver using a fuzzy controller

A noise suppressing circuit has a gate for controlling a composite signal applied to a stereo demodulator of an FM tuner, and a detector for detecting a noise included in the composite signal and for producing a noise dependent signal for controlling the gate to close it. A pilot signal detector is provided for detecting a pilot signal included in the composite signal for producing a pilot dependent pulses. In response to the noise dependent signal and to the pilot dependent pulses, gate control pulses are applied to the gate, thereby closing the gate in synchronism with the pilot signal.

There is provided a circulating line branched from a solution or suspension tank and returning again to this tank through a pump (15) used to control the flow velocity at a constant level. A ceramic resonator, a variable reactance circuit, and a limiter circuit are connected to the output of an amplifier having an output that is fed back to the positive phase-sequence input, and the frequency of oscillation is controlled by varying an equivalent capacitance of the reactance circuit with a control voltage applied to the reactance circuit. The limiter circuit ensures a variable frequency range on the high frequency side, and the symmetry of the capture range when this system is applied to a PLL can be improved.

A noise reducing circuit for reducing various noise in the output of a receiver. A noise attenuating circuit receives a demodulated signal and attenuates the noise in the demodulated signal in accordance with a control signal supplied thereto. A signal strength detecting circuit outputs a field intensity signal indicative of a strength of a radio wave signal inputted to the receiver. An output noise level detecting circuit outputs a noise level signal indicative of a noise level in the demodulated signal after the noise is attenuated. A fuzzy inferring circuit performs fuzzy inference in accordance with fuzzy production rules given by membership functions for the field intensity signal and the noise level signal, respectively so as to output an inference output. A control signal generating circuit produces the control signal on the basis of the inference output to control the noise attenuating circuit.

A multipath detector circuit is in a form of a differential amplifier and has a first level dependent on strength of a received signal and a second level set to a lower level than the first level. The circuit produces a multipath level signal when the first level reduces below a threshold represented by a difference between the first level and the second level increases with an increase of the first level. The multipath detector circuit is arranged so that the threshold increases with an increase of the first level.

This open show-case has inner and outer air ducts, a first evaporator and a first blower in said inner duct (an inner evaporator and an inner blower, respectively), and a second evaporator and a second blower in said outer duct, said blowers circulating the air to form at least two layers of air curtains running between respective upper ports at the upper end of the front opening of said show-case and respective lower ports at the lower end of said opening. The show-case is operated by: providing high pressure refrigerant only through the inner evaporator via a decompression valve to thereby evaporate the refrigerant therein during refrigeration operation by the inner evaporator, without passing the refrigerant through the outer evaporator; and providing high pressure refrigerant to the inner evaporator and to the outer evaporator via a decompression valve during defrosting operation for the inner evaporator, with the outer blower driven at a higher speed than a normal speed and the inner blower driven in a reverse direction at a slower speed than a normal speed.

Method for operating an open show-case

In a subject fluid, there is placed an apparatus for measuring a change in state of the fluid, said apparatus having a tubular body which, in turn, contains therein at least one heating sensor employing so-called hot wire method. A quantity of the fluid is introduced into the tubular body and a temperature of the heating sensor is measured by the heating sensor itself as the quantity of the fluid having been introduced into the tubular body is maintained in a state of laminar flow or a static state. The laminar flow is generated by fluid impeller means such as impeller vane, screw-type vane or propeller vane assembly or uniaxial eccentric pump. The static state is maintained y providing gateway means for passage of the fluid into or out from the tubular body and closing such gateway means. A temperature of the fluid having been introduced into the tubular body and maintained in said laminar or static state is measured and discharged out from the tubular body upon completion of said temperature measurements. A change in state of the fluid is determined based on the temperatures of the fluid and the heating sensor.

A cutting line head assembly in a rotary cutter having an engine unit, and a power head having drive shaft rotatively driven by the engine unit for rotating the assembly. A housing of the assembly is connectible to the engine unit and rotatable in a cutting plane. A reel is engageable with the housing, and has a reel portion, and a peripheral wall portion separately connected to the reel portion and having at least one aperture.
