Any specific member for fixation is omitted from a fuel injection device so that number of parts is reduced and the fuel injection device is constructed at a reasonable cost. The fuel injection device for use in an internal combustion engine is provided with a fuel distribution pipe, plural connecting pipe members, and plural fuel injection valves, and each of the fuel injection valvesis inserted into a connecting pipe member. A band-shaped protrusionextends in the radial direction from a flange portion of the connecting pipe memberand further extends in parallel to the axis of the fuel injection valve. The band-shaped protrusionis provided with a fitting hole, and each fuel injection valveis provided with a protrusionfitted into the fitting hole

Fuel injection device

An air intake control system includes valve elements disposed in intake passages for varying the cross-sectional area of each intake passage, a valve shaft for transmitting a driving force to the valve element, an actuator including a motor for producing the driving force for turning valve shaft, a worm gear mounted on a rotary shaft of the motor, and a housing accommodating the motor and the worm gear, and a driving gear which meshes with the worm gear to transmit the driving force supplied from the actuator to the valve shaft. The driving gear includes a boss portion, a tooth portion which meshes with the worm gear, and an elastic member which is sandwiched between and bonded to the boss portion and the tooth portion. The boss portion rotates together with the valve shaft, whereas the tooth portion and the elastic member can rotate relative to the valve shaft.

Air intake control system

A fuel injection apparatus in which a fuel injector, a stopper and a fuel delivery pipe can be efficiently assembled. The fuel injector, the stopper and the fuel delivery pipe are preliminarily connected in a predetermined positional relationship, and supported and secured by a resinous holder, a metal plate holder or the like. As a result, it becomes possible to handle the fuel injector, the stopper and the fuel delivery pipe as one part.

Fuel injection apparatus for internal combustion engine

A step motor is provided that makes it possible to lower the manufacturing cost and accurately control the movement of a holder. The step motor is provided with: a motor case (3); a hollow columnar stator (4) which is provided inside the motor case (3) and which generates a magnetic field; a rotor (42) which is rotatably provided in the stator (4) and which rotates in steps according to the generated magnetic field of the stator (4); an actuating shaft (43) which is fixed to the rotor (42) and which has a threaded portion (53) at one end thereof; a holder (45) which is threadably engaged with the threaded portion (53) and which is movable in the axial direction; and a guide (44) which is fixed to the motor case (3), which prevents the rotational motion of the holder (45), and which guides the holder (45) to move in the axial direction.
