A three-dimensional measurement method for conducting measurement of a three-dimensional shape of a surface of an object using a three-dimensional measuring device is provided. The method includes providing, in advance, a posture sensor that detects a posture of the three-dimensional measuring device, providing, in advance, a parameter table in which a parameter corresponding to a posture of the three-dimensional measuring device is stored, and calculating three-dimensional shape data of the object using measurement data and the parameter, the measurement data being obtained by conducting measurement of the object with the three-dimensional measuring device and the parameter being read out from the parameter table according to a posture of the three-dimensional measuring device upon the measurement.

Method and apparatus for three-dimensional measurement

A three-dimensional shape input device for entering a three-dimensional shape of an object by a light projection method is provided, which includes a light projecting portion for projecting detection light onto an object, and an imaging portion for receiving reflected light from the object. The device includes a storage portion for storing a parameter that is used for computing the three-dimensional shape, a computing portion for computing the three-dimensional shape of the object by using image data delivered from the imaging portion and the parameter, and a dividing portion for dividing an imaging surface of an image sensor into plural areas. The storage portion stores parameters each of which is to be applied to each of the areas. The computing portion performs computation for each of the areas by using a parameter to be applied to each of the areas.

Three-dimensional shape input device

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for accurately measuring a three-dimensional shape of a measuring subject independent of the surface shape of the measuring subject, and another object thereof is to shorten the time from the measurements of the measuring subject until three-dimensional shape data is obtained so as to carry out efficient measuring operations. In a three-dimensional measuring system that measures a three-dimensional shape of a measuring subject, two three-dimensional measuring devices are placed. The three-dimensional measuring device measures a measuring subject placed in a measuring space by allowing a laser slit light L in a longitudinal direction to scan in a lateral direction. Moreover, the three-dimensional measuring device measures the measuring subject placed in a measuring space by allowing the laser slit light L in a lateral direction to scan in a longitudinal direction.

Three-dimensional shape-measuring system

This invention is related to a three-dimensional measuring device for measuring three-dimensional positions of an objects. The three-dimensional measuring device comprises an optical projection system and an optical reception system. In a preliminary measurement prior to an actual measurement, the optical projection system projects slit light beam on the object with varying projection angle with in a narrow range, and the optical reception system receives the slit light beam reflected by the object and generates image signals corresponding to an amount of the received light synchronously with variation of the projection angle. Measurement conditions including intensity of the light beam and the projection angle for the actual measurement are set in accordance with the image signals of the actual measurement. Under the measurement conditions, the actual measurement is executed by projection the light beam on the object with varying the projection angle within a wide range.

Three-dimensional measuring device and three-dimensional measuring method

A three-dimensional information measuring apparatus is provided, which uses a distance measuring sensor provided externally to an imaging lens. The apparatus enables three-dimensional data input of a small object and makes the influence of a misregistration between the imaging lens and a distance measuring sensor uniform. The apparatus includes a light irradiation device for irradiating a reference light beam to the object, a light reception device for receiving the reference light beam reflected by the object, so as to generate data that determine the position of the object. The apparatus also includes a distance measuring sensor for measuring the distance to the object and a lens controller for adjusting the focal point of an imaging lens in accordance with the output of the distance measuring sensor. The distance measuring sensor is arranged so that the measurement axis crosses the light reception axis of the imaging lens within the measurable distance range.
