Condiment dispensing device

A condiment dispensing device is provided that, when activated by a user, may expel a condiment from a condiment cartridge secured within the condiment dispensing device. The condiment dispensing device includes a recess at its bottom portion in which a dampener member may be secured. When the dampener member is secured in the recess, the bottom portion of the dispensing device is flat, which results in the device being orientation within a holder in a consistent and predictable fashion. Because the dampener member may be made of a rubber or soft plastic, when the condiment dispensing device is placed in the holder, substantially less impact and noise are created than if the dispensing device were construed entirely made of metal.

The present invention is directed to a hand tool that includes an implement, a tang extending from the implement, and a handle secured tot the tang. The handle includes an opposing surface facing away from the implement, and a portion of the tang is configured to engage a portion of the opposing surface to mechanically lock the handle and tang together. The present invention is also directed to a multi-blade garden transplanter tool that includes at least three blades extending outward along a center axis from a free end to a handle end, and a handle is secured to the handle end.

A nut gatherer device includes a cage formed by a plurality of wires and a pair of hubs. Each hub includes first and second annular sets of spaced teeth, with portions of the wires secured in the radially-aligned spaces. In use, the wire cage is rolled on the ground into contact with a bulky object, such as a nut, so that the object forces the wires to separate and permit the nut to pass into the cage where it is retained until emptying.

A weed extraction tool includes an actuator having two parallel blades formed from a single piece bent into a u-shape. The blades have serrated leading edges and a deep notch in the upper third of the blade trisection above the serrations to facilitate extraction of undesired plants.

A nut gatherer device includes a cage formed by a plurality of wires. Each of the wires has a bowed middle segment and two straight end portions. Opposite end portions of the wires are secured within opposed hubs, each hub including first and second annular sets of spaced teeth, with the end portions of the wires secured in the radially-aligned spaces. A retainer affixed to the hub secures the wires between. A compressible washer between the wires and the retainer provides further securement and vibration dampening. An axle aperture in the hubs allows the cage to be rotatably attached to a handle. In use, the wire cage is rolled on the ground into contact with a bulky object, such as a nut, so that the object forces the wires to separate and permit the nut to pass into the cage where it is retained until emptying.

Spinal surgery systems are provided. In one embodiment, a system includes threaded caps and screw assemblies. Each assembly includes a cannulated and threaded screw having upper and lower ends, a polyaxial head permanently fixed to the screw upper end in a ball-and-socket engagement, and an extension portion fixed to the head wherein extension portion movement causes the head to move in concert. Each head has a receiving area for engaging a rod and a threaded area for receiving one of the caps after the rod is engaged in the receiving area. Each extension portion has: (a) two arms spaced apart such that the arms are on opposite sides of the polyaxial head receiving area; and (b) at least one point of weakness such that forcing the arms away from one another causes the extension portion to divide at the point of weakness and separate the extension portion from the head.
