A film formation method controls with accuracy the thickness of a thin film formed on a film formation object. The film formation method includes a film formation step of heating a film formation source and forming a film on a film formation object while moving the film formation source and monitoring an amount of released vapors of the film forming material using a quartz oscillator for measurement, a control step of adjusting a heating temperature of the film formation source based on the monitored value of the quartz oscillator for measurement, and a calibration step of calibrating the monitored value of the quartz oscillator for measurement, using a quartz oscillator for calibration and the quartz oscillator for measurement. The calibration step is performed in a middle of the film formation step, after movement of the film formation source is started from a waiting position.

Immediately after a main switch is turned ON, a battery check is performed based on a first inhibit voltage than a second reference voltage which is an inhibit voltage level a predetermined time period after the main switch is turned ON, and therefore, even when the voltage is in a low state immediately after the main switch is turned ON, it is possible to activate a camera without an erroneous detection. Further, when the elapsed time from a time when the main switch is turned OFF to a time when tuned ON next time is relatively long, a solid high polymer film inside the fuel cell is assumed to be further dried, then the first inhibit voltage is changed, and therefore, even when the voltage fluctuates depending on the humidifying state immediately after the main switch is turned ON, an appropriate battery check can be performed.

The camera includes a controller which performs a focusing control corresponding to the mounted lens apparatus; a display unit which performs display process corresponding to an output of the controller; and a storage section which stores correction information for correcting a calculation result in the focusing control by the controller, in association with the mounted lens apparatus.

Electronic equipment includes a fuel cell for supplying electrical power. A power source switch controls supply of power to the electronic equipment. A voltage check unit compares a voltage of the fuel cell with a reference voltage and generates a voltage depleted signal when such voltage is below the reference voltage. A control unit measures from a time when the supply of power of the fuel cell to the electronic equipment is stopped to a time when the supply of the power of the fuel cell to the electronic equipment is started, and controls the voltage check unit to operate according to a first reference voltage if the measured time is shorter than a predetermined time. If the measured time is longer than the predetermined time, the voltage check unit is controlled to operate according to a second reference voltage.

An accessory unit mountable on an eyepiece portion includes an engaging member having an engaging claw portion engageable with the eyepiece portion, an operating portion configured to manipulated by a user so that the engaging claw portion is displaced in a direction of releasing the engagement of the engaging claw portion and the eyepiece portion, and a mechanism portion configured to displace the engaging claw portion in a direction such that the engaging claw portion and the eyepiece portion are engaged with each other when a force is applied to the accessory unit mounted on the eyepiece portion in a direction opposite to the mounting without manipulating the operating portion.

An automatic transmission control device having a specific shift lock system for prohibiting a selective operation of a select lever rotataby supported on a first rotary shaft which is supported on a housing and extended in a widthwise direction of a vehicle body. The shift lock system has a lock pin extending substantially in parallel with the first rotary shaft, a second rotary shaft supported on the housing and extended substantially in parallel with the first rotary shaft, and a lock member having a lock part. The lock pin is movable in a lengthwise direction of the vehicle body with response to a rotation of the select lever. The lock member is supported on the second rotary shaft so as to rotate around the second rotary shaft to have one of a lock position and an unlock position. In the lock position, the lock member restricts the selective operation of the select lever by bringing the lock part into contact with a periphery of the lock pin.
