A food information management system includes a food database () containing food cooking conditions for cooking foods, and nutritive ingredients, energy-producing values and weight of foods, and information storage mediums (). Each information storage medium is attached to a food package () containing a processed food () and storing food information including food ID information specifying a food. When cooling the processed food (), the food ID information stored in the food information storage medium () is read by a read means. Food information about a food specified by the food ID information is retrieved from the food database (), an output means receives the food information, and a display means displays the food information.

Food information management system

A microwave oven and automatic cooking system uses a food package provided with a noncontact IC tag storing information about a food contained in the food package, where the information about the food includes information about a method of heating the food and an amount of heat energy for cooking the food, the information about the amount of heat energy being expressed in a form of an absolute amount of heat energy. The microwave oven receives the food package and cooks the food contained in the food package. The microwave oven includes a reader that reads the information stored in the noncontact IC tag, and a ccontroller that controls the cooking of the food contained in the food package under optimum cooking conditions on the basis of the information read from the noncontact IC tag by the reader, the controller being programmed to automatically set an absolute amount of heat energy to be provided by the microwave oven on the basis of the information read by the reader, and set a heating time in accordance with an output capacity of the microwave oven and a type of the microwave oven so that the absolute amount of heat energy from the microwave oven conforms with the absolute amount of heat energy information read from the noncontact IC tag.

Automatic cooking system and microwave oven

An automatic cold-storage system includes a food package () provided with a noncontact IC tag (), and a refrigerator () for storing the food package (). Information is read from the noncontact IC tag () by a noncontact IC tag reader () and is compiled to a database (). A managing means () controls the refrigerator () on the basis of information contained in the database (). A releasing agent is applied to opposite side edge portions of a tack sheet to form releasing regions. A laminated sheet provided with an adhesive layer having exposed opposite side edge portions is overlaid on the tack sheet. The laminated sheet is bonded to the tack sheet through portions of the adhesive layer not corresponding to the releasing regions. The laminated sheet is punched to form a plurality of divisions, and the divisions are bonded to the tack sheet by the portions of the adhesive layer not corresponding to the releasing regions. Portions having a desired figure of the tack sheet are punched out to provide adhesive labels.
