Disclosed is a moisture-curing type curable resin composition containing: a curable resin intramolecularly having a silicon-containing functional group; and a Lewis acid or a complex of the Lewis acid as a curing catalyst, the Lewis acid being selected from the group consisting of metal halides and boron halides, which is rapidly cured at room temperature. The silicon-containing functional group is represented by general formula: &#x2014;SiXXXor &#x2014;SiRXX(wherein, X, Xand Xrespectively represent a hydrolytic group and may be the same as or different from each other, and Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having 1 to 20 carbons). If the silicon-containing functional group is &#x2014;SiRXX, the curable resin further contains intramolecularly a polar component that is one of urethane, thiourethane, urea, thiourea, substituted urea, substituted thiourea, amide, and sulfide bonds, and hydroxyl, secondary amino and tertiary amino groups. Two-part type adhesive is constitutable with separating the curable resin from the curing catalyst.

Curable resin composition

There is disclosed a toothpaste composition containing: (1) a water-soluble bactericide selected from the group consisting of pyridinium compounds, quaternary ammonium compounds and biguanide compounds in an amount of 0.001% to 5.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition; (2) a cationically-modified hydroxyethylcellulose having an average molecular weight of 1,000,000 or higher in the hydroxyethylcellulose portion thereof and having a cationization degree of 0.05 to 0.5 mol/glucose in an amount of 0.5% to 5.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition; (3) a surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block copolymers and alkylolamide compounds in an amount of 0.5% to 13% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition; and (4) a polishing agent of the non-silica type in an amount of 5% to 50% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition.

Toothpaste composition

There is disclosed an oral composition comprising a water-insoluble polymer having quaternary nitrogen atoms as an active component and a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer surfactant as a stabilizing agent for the polymer. This composition has high adsorbability of microorganisms in the oral cavity and removes the microorganisms to exhibit improved dental plaque control effect.

Oral composition with active water insoluble polymer

There is disclosed an oral composition including an organosilicon-type quaternary ammonium salt immobilized on a water-insoluble solid carrier. In particularly, an oral composition in an aqueous system according to the present invention includes an organosilicon-type quaternary ammonium salt immobilized on a water-insoluble solid carrier in combination with at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymers and alkylolamides as a stabilizing agent; at least one thickening agent selected from the group consisting of nonionic thickening agents and cationic thickening agents; and optionally at least one alcohol selected from the group consisting of ethanol, propanol and isopropanol as a dispersing agent.

Oral Composition

A dentifrice composition stably containing cetylpyridinium chloride and having improved shape retention at a low temperature in the form of an aqueous gel is disclosed. The composition comprises 15 to 80% by weight of a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer surfactant based on the total weight of the composition, 0.001 to 5% by weight of cetylpyridinium chloride based on the total weight of the composition, and polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 2,000 to 20,000 in a proportion of 1/200 to 1/4 based on the weight of the polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer.

Dentifrice composition

A dentifrice composition containing a bactericide selected from the group consisting of biguanido bactericides and N-alkyldiaminoethylglycine, a polyoxyethylenepolyoxypropylene block copolymer surfactant and a N-higher acylamino acid or its salt is disclosed. The dentifrice composition maintains bactericidal activities of the bactericide added.
