While an insert shaft () disposed with a wide angle lens () at a top end thereof is being inserted into a hole to inspect a wall surface of the hole on the basis of an image photographed through the wide angle lens (), gas is injected into the innermost recess of the hole along the outer circumferential surface of the insert shaft () by a gas injection mechanism (). The gas injection mechanism () is provided with a guide () configured to surround a top end portion of the insert shaft () and form a gas injection passage (R) extending in the longitudinal direction of the insert shaft () between the inner circumferential surface of the guide () and the outer circumferential surface of the insert shaft (), and a gas supply unit () configured to supply gas to an inner space of the guide ().

Hole inspection method and hole inspection device

A surface inspection device includes an image generator for generating a digital image achieved by imaging an inner surface of a bore which is subjected to a boring work, a line extraction processor for extracting a line along a horizontal direction set to a line extraction direction from the digital image, for determining the state of the inner surface of the bore based on the line extracted by the line extraction processor. The line extraction processor extracts lines along the line detection direction from respective digital images before and after rotation which are achieved by rotating the digital image once or over plural times every predetermined angle while the line extraction direction is fixed, and the estimating unit determines the state of the inner surface of the bore based on the lines extracted from the respective digital images before and after the rotation.

Surface inspection device and surface inspection method

An image processing method includes a step of extracting an inner circle and an outer circle from an annular image, a step of obtaining the center for the extracted inner circle and the extracted outer circle respectively, and a step of moving a processing center serving as a reference in the polar coordinate conversion gradually between the center of the inner circle and the center of the outer circle to convert the circular image into a panoramic development image. According thereto, when an annular image of a side wall surface of a hole imaged by an omnidirectional imaging device () is converted into a panoramic development image according to a polar coordinate conversion, a distortion resulted from a position deviation occurred between an optical axis (L) of the omnidirectional imaging device () and a central axis (L) of the hole (H) can be corrected.
