A method of manufacturing a clad metal casing includes the steps of arranging and connecting metallic materials with different types from each other to form a clad board; shaping the clad board; and post-process the appearance surface of the formed clad board to form the clad metal casing. The appearance surface after the post-process presents surfaces of at least two metallic materials.

A casing assembly of an electronic device is provided. The casing assembly of the electronic device is configured to connect a connecting assembly. The connecting assembly comprises a metal casing; and an injection-molded frame. The injection-molded frame includes a first surface and a second surface, the first surface is fixed to the metal casing, and the second surface is configured with a plurality of connecting structures. The connecting structures are fixed to the connecting assembly, and the connecting assembly is assembled to the metal casing via the connecting structures.

Casing assembly and electronic device having the same

An electronic system with an electronically controlled electronic locking mechanism is provided. The system includes a first electronic device having a first part, a first fastening element, a second part, and an electronic locking element. The first fastening element is pivotally connected to the first part and rotates relatively to the first part. The second part includes a fastening portion. The electronic locking element is disposed at the first part, electronically connected to the first electronic device, and connected to the first fastening element. When the fastening portion of the second part contacts and fastens to the first fastening element of the first part, the first electronic device supplies power to the electronic locking element, and thus the electronic locking element fixes the first fastening element to lock the first part and the second part together.

Electronic device

A support unit comprising a cover, a positioning unit and a bracket is provided. The cover is pivotably connected to a housing of the portable electronic device and can be received in the housing. The positioning unit is fixed to the housing and includes a plurality of limiting recesses. The bracket includes a first end and a second end that opposite. The first end is connected to the positioning unit, and the second end is pivotably connected to the cover. When the cover is expanded out of the housing, the first end of the bracket is driven by the cover to move relative to the positioning unit, and then the first end of the bracket is engaged with a limiting recess of the positioning unit to fix the expansion angle of the cover relative to the housing. A portable electronic device including the support unit is also provided.

A connection assembly comprises a bracket, a linkage element, a first elastic element, a trigger element, and a second elastic element. The first elastic element is connected with the bracket and the linkage element. One end of the trigger element is fixed on the bracket. The second elastic element is connected to the trigger element and the bracket. When the electronic apparatus is not connected to the dock, the linkage element is located at a first position of the trigger element, and the first elastic element stores a first elastic force. When the electronic apparatus is connected to the dock, the trigger element receives an external force so that the second elastic element stores a second elastic force, and the first elastic element releases the first elastic force to move the linkage element to a second position of the trigger element.

Connection assembly for docking and composite electronic system

A pivot apparatus adapted to connect a host and a display includes a rotary base having a first part and a second part, a connecting plate, a pivot component, a first connecting rod and a hook. The first part is embedded at the host. The second part has a rotary shaft embedded at a first edge of the connecting plate. The pivot component is pivotally connected between a rear surface of the display and a second edge of the connecting plate. The first connecting rod is slidably disposed at the connecting plate and has at least a locking hole. The hook is disposed at the rear surface and passes through the connecting plate to be slidably disposed in the locking hole. The hook is used to interfere with the first connecting rod to restrict the rotation of the display by the pivot component relative to the connecting plate.

Foldable electronic device and pivot apparatus thereof

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first casing, a second casing, a plurality of connecting rods and a connecting part. The first casing has an upper surface, and an end of each of the connecting rods is connected to the second casing. The connecting part connected to the first casing has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion having a lower surface and two corresponding side surfaces adjacent to the first connecting portion. The lower surface faces the upper surface of the first casing and is parallel with the upper surface. A runner is formed at each of the side surfaces, and the other ends of the connecting rods are slidingly disposed in the runners correspondingly to allow the second casing to move relative to the first casing via the runners of the connecting part and the connecting rods.

An electronic device includes a housing, a button plate, a support element and a printed circuit board. The housing has an opening. The button plate is disposed at the opening of the housing, has a central region and two sides, wherein the button plate is mounted to the housing through the two ends of the two sides formed by elastic arms respectively. The support element is disposed under the central region of the button plate for defining the button plate into left and right parts. The printed circuit board is located underneath the support element, has two switches located respectively corresponds to the left and right parts of the button plate.

Button structure

A button structure applied to an electronic device includes a housing, a button plate, a support element and a printed circuit board. The button plate is contained to a central opening of the housing. The central region of the button plate has a first thickness, while two sides of the button plate have a second thickness. The second thickness is thicker than the first thickness. The ends of the button plate are separately formed as elastic arms for mounting the button plate to the housing. The support element is sited under the button plate right under the central region so as to define the support element into left and right parts. The printed circuit board located under the support element and has two switches separately corresponding to the left and right parts of the button plate.

A multi-stage hinge assembly connected between first and second shell portions includes a first component, a second component and a connecting portion. At least one part of the first component is fixed to the first shell portion. A pivot extends from one side of the first component along a rotating axis. A protrusion is disposed on the pivot. At least one part of the second component is fixed to the second shell portion. The connecting portion is disposed beside the second component and pivots on the pivot. When the first component rotates relative to the second component, the pivot or connecting portion rotates about the rotating axis. First and second trenches are disposed in the connecting portion and separate it into first and second connecting portions. The first and second trenches are connected together and have different widths. The protrusion slides in the first or second trench.

Multi-stage hinge assembly and electrical device

A hook-linked latch structure is for latching a first shell body and a second shell body. A first opening and a second opening are disposed on the first shell body. The latch structure includes a latch, at least one first hook and a second hook. The latch having a first connecting portion is disposed in the first shell body. At least one portion of the latch is in contact with a first elastomer. The first hook connecting with the latch is positioned on the first shell body and near the first opening. A second connecting portion is at the first hook. The second hook pivots on the first shell body and nears the second opening. The second hook has a third connecting portion and a pressing portion. The third connecting portion connects with the first connecting portion and the latch is at a first position.

A noise reduction key structure is disclosed. The noise reduction key structure is applied to an electronic device having a housing and a substrate, the substrate being installed in the housing, the housing having a key portion, the noise reduction key structure comprising: a switch element which is installed on the substrate in response to the key portion; and an encapsulation which has a hole, wherein the hole encapsulates on the up side of the substrate, so that the substrate and the encapsulation together encapsulate the switch element into a chamber of the encapsulation, whereby when the key portion is pressed down, the key portion triggers the encapsulation to further trigger the switch element, and the encapsulation can reduce the noise of triggering the switch element.

A button structure is disposed on a housing and the housing has at least one opening. The button structure includes at least one button portion and a supporting frame. The button portion has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is fixed on the housing. The second portion covers the opening. The supporting frame is set in the opening. The supporting frame is connected with the housing and faces the second portion. An electronic apparatus, which includes a housing and a button structure, is also provided.
