A fuel supplying pump having a switching circuit provided in the pump closing. The switching circuit stops the pump when an engine stops rotating due, for instance, to a fuel pipe breakage. The circuit having a transistor with a base connected to an oil pressure responsive switch.

Fuel supplying pump

An in-tank type fuel pump in which an impeller within the pump chamber is rotated by a motor disposed within a fuel chamber within a main body to pump fuel. A through hole in communication with a fuel chamber of the motor portion is provided in a side wall of the pump chamber on the motor side close to the upstream end of the annular channel defining the fuel chamber of the motor portion.

In-tank fuel pump

An electric fuel pump is provided with an insulative holding member 20 for holding choke coils 16 and connecting portions 23 between the choke coils and lead wires (14) as well as between the choke coils and brushes 10, to be mounted in the interior of a pump frame 1. In this electric fuel pump, the insulative holding member 20 holds and fixes the choke coils 16 and the connecting portions around the same, thereby to protect the choke coils 16 and the nearby connecting portions against vibration and shocks applied to the fuel pump. The holding member 20 also insulates conductive parts so that the same are not in contact with a housing 1 of magnetic material or the like, thereby to improve insulativity.

Electric fuel pump

A suction port 22a of an end cover 22 and a suction port 21a of a pump casing 21 are disposed to have a certain angular distance from each other, and the end cover 22 is covered by fuel filtration element 23 with a gap against the bottom of the end cover 22, thereby resistance to fire flame ignited by collector of a pump motor becomes large and dangerous spreading of fire flame is prevented.

An in-tank type fuel pump comprises a pump body having a cylindrical yoke with its one end closed by a cover-out member made of a synthetic resinous material, a motor held in the pump body and an impeller driven by the motor to discharge fuel sucked from an intake port to a discharge port, wherein an elongated portion extending along the inner wall of the cylindrical yoke is formed integrally with the cover-out member and each of first lead wires is extended from the interior of the pump body to the exterior of the same through each through hole formed in the elongated portion, each one end of the first lead wires in the pump body being connected to each of second lead wires connected to brushes.

In-tank type fuel pump

A rotary positive displacement pump of the pin roller type comprising a pump housing made of aluminum having a pump chamber with the inner periphery being cylindrical, which is fixed between a pump base and a pump case, a rotor eccentrically located within the pump chamber and driven by a motor, a plurality of rollers made of synthetic resin which is inserted in clearance grooves formed on the outer periphery of the rotor, wherein a centrifugal force generated when the rotor rotates moves the rollers toward the inner wall of the pump housing thereby to form a pump operation space.
