A control valve for controlling a routing of a pressure medium in pneumatic conduits, especially those in motor vehicles, wherein the control valve includes a housing provided with a cylindrical recess and a control slide guided in the cylindrical recess in a longitudinally-displaceable fashion. A gasket or sealing arrangement is provided by means of which a central pneumatic conduit is alternatingly connected, after an operating stroke of the control slide, to a pneumatic conduit lying to the left and to the right of the central pneumatic conduit. The control valve further includes an operating sleeve longitudinally displaceable between two compression springs supported on the control slide and between two detent locations. The operating sleeve is arranged on the control slide in such a way that, upon operation of the operating sleeve, the control slide is braked as soon as sealing elements of the sealing arrangement abut against respective opposite valve seat surfaces. The operating sleeve during a further stroke, upon exceeding a specific resistance, is disengaged from one detent location and, upon further axial displacement, engages into the other detent location against the force or strength of one of the compression springs.

Control valve for pneumatic conduits

A pneumatic actuating arrangement for to and fro movements, especially of a central locking system for motor vehicles, with an excess pressure source and with a vacuum source and with at least one pneumatic working device whose working chamber is adapted to be selectively connected to the excess pressure source or to the vacuum source by way of a shifting valve shiftable between two end positions. An intermediate for the shifting valve is provided in which position the shifting valve becomes temporarily effective during the transition from the one end position into the other end position so that the working chamber is conected to the atmosphere.

Pneumatic actuating arrangement, especially for central locking systems,

A pneumatic central locking mechanism for doors and/or hinged covers of automotive vehicles wherein one pneumatic operating member is provided at the doors or hinged covers to be locked by the central locking operation for locking and unlocking locking devices associated with such doors and covers. A pump, drivable by an electric motor, produces excess pressure and vacuum with a reversing valve being provided for selectively delivering the excess pressure and vacuum to the pneumatic operating members. The reversing valve is operated by a pneumatic operating member which is pneumatically connected in parallel, by way of a throttle, to the operating members associated with the doors and hinged covers. Two double throw switch arrangements are provided with one of the double throw switch arrangements being actuated by the further operating member.

A latchable door lock for motor vehicles, whose catch element, in addition to be blocked by a locking pawl to be actuated manually, is to be blocked by a further latching element, whose blocking action can be lifted only by means of a fitting key; the further latching element thereby engages directly at the catch element without reaction on the locking pawl while the key-controlled commands are transmitted by way of lines to servo devices coordinated to the remaining doors and/or flaps and displacing the additional latching elements.

Lockable door lock for motor vehicles

An adjusting drive operated by a pressure medium with a spring-loaded roller diaphragm secured to plates and displaceable within a housing by the pressure medium; the roller diaphragm actuates an adjusting member that is securely connected with a plate and extends out of the housing; in addition to its end positions, the adjusting member is also able to assume at least one intermediate position; the plates are thereby connected with each other by the roller diaphragm while a plate not directly connected with the adjusting member sealingly rests on a ring-shaped abutment projecting out of the inner wall of the housing in the intermediate position of the adjusting member.

A pneumatic system for a central locking installation of motor vehicles with lines that conduct pressures to pneumatic elements, of which one each is coordinated to the parts to be locked, such as doors, tank lid, rear lid and/or front hood and the like, whereby key actuation of the locking mechanism at a vehicle door opens, respectively, closes the associated part(s); the pneumatic elements are constructed as single-chamber elements, to which excess pressure and vacuum are alternately fed through the same line; the excess pressure and vacuum are produced by a pump driven by an electric motor that is set into operation by a pulse transmitter engaged during the actuation of the locking mechanism of the driver door, and that is again automatically turned off after the termination of the opening or locking operation.

A check valve, especially for vacuum-operated installations in motor vehicles, which includes a two-partite housing and a roller diaphragm secured between the housing parts provided with inlet and outlet channels; the roller diaphragm which is pressed against its sealing seat by a prestressed spring, cooperates by means of its ring-shaped, curved diaphragm portion as movable sealing part with the bottom of one housing part constructed as sealing seat in such a manner that a central bore provided in the section of the roller diaphragm located on the side of the spring, connects the inlet channel terminating outside of the curved diaphragm portion with the outlet channel of the housing part, when the curved diaphragm portion lifts off from the sealing seat upon exceeding a predetermined differential pressure.

A vehicle with operationally conditioned vacuum loads and comfort vacuum loads, in which a central distributor box is provided that is equipped with a feed connection to connect a distributor chamber with a vacuum source; at least two load chambers are also provided in the distributor box, whereby each load chamber is connected with the distributor chamber by way of a protective valve opening in the direction to the distributor chamber against a spring force, and with a load connection which is in communication with a test connection that opens into the atmosphere after overcoming a spring-loaded valve.
