A rotor for a turbocharger device has a shaft and, arranged and fixed axially one behind the other on the shaft, an impeller wheel, a sealing bushing element and an axial bearing element which rotates with the shaft. The sealing bushing element and the axial bearing element, by way of an internal thread provided on at least one of the elements, are screwed to a first external thread arranged on the shaft and are braced against a shaft shoulder. Stronger and more rigid fixing of the parts that are pushed onto the shaft, and thus also lower susceptibility to vibration-induced faults during operation, are achieved by way of this construction.

A turbocharger housing is divided along the longitudinal direction into at least two housing halves. The turbocharger housing includes a sealing device between the two housing halves for sealingly connecting the two housing halves.

A turbocharger has an exhaust gas turbine, a fresh-air compressor and a bearing seat. A rotor shaft that is equipped with the turbine and the compressor wheel is rotatably mounted in the bearing seat by way of at least one radial bearing. The radial bearing is a floating bush bearing with a hollow-cylindrical floating bush body positioned between a bearing seat of the bearing housing and the rotor shaft. The floating bush body is provided with a defined imbalance in order to counteract an imbalance of the turbo rotor.

The turbine housing is formed with a coolant inlet, a cooling jacket in the interior of the turbine housing, and a coolant outlet. The bearing housing has a coolant inlet, a cooling jacket in the interior of the bearing housing, and a coolant outlet. The coolant inlet of the bearing housing is connected to a branched coolant outlet of the turbine housing. The coolant outlet of the bearing housing is connected to a coolant return inlet of the turbine housing.
