A method for incorporating an augmented voice communication into a communication routing configuration of a contact center system according to an embodiment includes selecting a vocal avatar, wherein the vocal avatar includes phonetic characteristics having first values, receiving a text communication and input user parameters from an input user, generating the augmented voice communication based on the text communication and the input user parameters, wherein the augmented voice communication includes phonetic characteristics having second values, wherein the first values of the phonetic characteristics of the vocal avatar are different from the second values of the phonetic characteristics of the augmented voice communication, and incorporating the augmented voice communication into the communication routing configuration of the contact center system.

In a method for managing customer interactions for a customer contact center, the method includes: receiving, by a processor, information on an interaction to be routed; identifying, by the processor, a context associated with the interaction; receiving, by the processor, first proximity information relating to a proximity between an electronic device and a first proximity device; adjusting, by the processor, a proficiency level of an agent corresponding to the context associated with the interaction to a first value in response to the receiving of the first proximity information; determining, by the processor, whether or not the agent is qualified to handle the interaction based on the proficiency level; and transmitting, by the processor, a message for routing the interaction to the agent in response to determining the agent is qualified to handle the interaction based on the proficiency level.

System and method for managing customer interactions for contact center based on agent proximity

In a system for managing an interaction flow, the system includes: a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor, wherein the memory has stored thereon, instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: receive a communication from a user device; store data corresponding to one or more topics of the communication in the memory; compare the data with parameters a plurality of predesigned interaction flows for identifying one or more of the predesigned interaction flows relevant to the communication; and route the communication to a corresponding contact center resource in response to identifying the one or more of the predesigned interaction flows relevant to the communication.

System and method for managing interaction flow for contact centers

A call handling platform receives a call placed by a caller to a calling number. The call handling platform computes an experience score for the caller using measurements of a subset of data points based on an interaction of the caller with an interactive voice response (IVR) module during the call. The experience score reflects a numerical measure of a level of satisfaction of the caller in interacting with the IVR module. The call handling platform compares the experience score to a predetermined threshold that indicates a minimum level of caller satisfaction, and determines that the experience score indicates that the caller has a lower level of satisfaction than the minimum level of satisfaction. Conditioned on this determination, the call handling platform routes the call to a human agent at a call center, along with enabling the agent to perceive a representation of the experience score.

Routing user communications to agents

An interface for configuring an interaction site is provided. First values corresponding to first parameters of an interaction page of the one or more interaction pages are received. Recommended interaction pages for the interaction site are selected based on the first values. An interface for selecting any interaction page of the recommended interaction pages is provided. Data indicating a selection of a particular interaction page is received. In response to receiving the data indicating the selection of the particular interaction page, an interface for configuring the particular interaction page is provided. Second values corresponding to second parameters of the particular interaction page are received. A second multi-step communication flow is determined based on (i) values corresponding to the parameters associated with the first multi-step communication flow and (ii) the second values. An interaction flow document including code for the interaction site specifying the second multi-step communication flow is generated.

Examples also involve receiving an interaction request, obtaining the data tagging for data corresponding to the received interaction request, using the data tagging for the data corresponding to the received interaction request to obtain the corresponding relevant set of compliance rules, using the corresponding set of compliance rules to identify agents eligible to access the data corresponding to the received interaction request, and routing the received interaction request to one of the eligible agents based on a defined routing strategy.

A request is received from a communications device to execute an interaction site. A request is transmitted to the automated response system. First instructions that provide one or more steps of the multi-step communication flow between the communications device and the automated response system are received from the automated response system. In response to determining that the request is for the voice-interaction with the interaction site, second instructions that provide the one or more steps through a voice interaction with a user of the communications device are determined and transmitted to the communications device. A system and method for providing an interactive media response menu in an interactive media response (IMR) system is described. The system provides an end user with an IMR menu. The end user has the option to pin particular menu options throughout the IMR menu. During subsequent interactions with the IMR system, the end user can access a menu of his or her pinned menu options. The end user can select one of the pinned menu options and the IMR system will present that menu option to the end user.

Pinning in an interactive media/voice response system

A system for managing interactions includes: a processor; and a memory, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: identify first and second interactions by a user device, each of the first and second interactions being configured to alternately occupy a first area of a display screen of the user device; display an icon on the first area, the icon representing the second interaction, wherein attributes of the icon correspond to attributes of the second interaction; and modify the attributes of the icon based on a status of the second interaction.

An application development platform transmits to a content provider system instructions that provide a user interface for developing an application that specifies a first multi-step communication flow between a communications device and a communications system. The platform receives from parameters of a program functionality for inclusion in the application, and selects one or more recommended program modules based on the parameters. The platform transmits instructions that provide a user interface for displaying the one or more recommended program modules. The platform receives data indicating a user selection of a particular program module. In response, the platform transmits instructions that provide a user interface for enabling user configuration of the particular program module. The platform receives modified parameters of the particular program module and determines a second multi-step communication flow between the communications device and the communications system based on the first multi-step communication flow and the modified parameters.

A request to execute an interaction site associated with a custom grammars file is received from a user device and by a communications system. An interaction flow document to execute the interaction site is accessed by the communications system. The custom grammars file is accessed by the communications system, the custom grammars file being configured to enable the communications system to identify executable commands corresponding to utterances spoken by users of user devices. An utterance spoken by a user of the user device is received from the user device and by the communications system. The utterance is stored by the communications system. The custom grammars file is updated by a grammar generation system to include a representation of the stored utterance for processing utterances in subsequent communications with users.

A call handling platform receives a call placed by a caller to a calling number. The platform examines parameters of the call, determines identifying information of the caller and matches the identifying information with a social network username corresponding to a social media network. The platform obtains the caller's social network data from the social media network. Using the social network data, the platform computes a social network influence score for the caller. The platform compares the social network influence score to a predetermined influence score threshold value and determines that the social network influence score for the caller indicates that the activity of the caller in the social media network has a high level of impact. The platform accordingly selects a first human agent at a call center and routes the call to the first human agent at the call center.

Instructions are transmitted from a contact center builder system to a content provider system that, when executed, provide an interface for configuring a contact center for the content provider that includes a contact center telephone number, an agent pool, and an interaction site. Data associated with one or more contact center configuration parameters are received from the content provider. A contact center telephone number is assigned to the contact center based on the data. One or more agents are assigned to the agent pool of the contact center based on the data. The data includes a task to be handled by the communications system without using an agent of the agent pool is determined. In response to determining that the data includes the task to be handled by the communications system without using an agent of the agent pool, multiple interaction pages for the interaction site are generated.

Call center builder platform

A request to execute an interaction site for enabling communications to be exchanged between a multi-channel communications system and a user device is received by an interaction flow processor. The interaction site is identified based on the request. An interaction flow document is accessed for the identified interaction site, the interaction flow document including code for initiating the interaction site between a user device and the multi-channel communications system using any one of multiple different communications channels including an interactive voice response channel. A communications channel used by the user device to contact the multi-channel communications system is determined. Based on the determined communications channel, the code of the interaction flow document is translated to code executable by the multi-channel communications system to enable the multi-channel communications system and the user device to exchange communications over the determined communications channel. A response is transmitted to the multi-channel communications system.
