A method for assembling components includes assembling a first component including solder bumps with a second component including connectors. The assembly of the components is preceded by pre-treating the first and second components wherein the solder bumps are contacted with a pre-treatment liquid configured to at least partially remove an oxide layer initially present on the solder. The pre-treatment liquid is an aqueous solution containing carboxylic acids or polycarboxylic acids. The assembly of the components is carried out after the pre-treatment in the absence of liquid or gas flux.

A method for joining, assembling, at least two parts made of silicon carbide-based materials by non-reactive brazing is provided. According to the method, the parts are contacted with a non-reactive brazing composition, the assembly formed by the parts and the brazing composition is heated to a brazing temperature sufficient to melt the brazing composition totally or at least partly, and the parts and brazing composition are cooled to that, after solidification of the brazing composition, a moderately refractory joint is formed; wherein the non-reactive brazing composition is an alloy comprising, in atomic percentages, 45% to 65% silicon, 28% to 45% nickel and 5% to 15% aluminum. Compositions for joining and assembling parts made of SiC-based materials

The invention relates to a method for assembling at least one part made of a porous carbon material with at least one part made of a copper-rich metal material, and to an alloy paste used to implement same. The method according to the invention includes a step comprising the use of an alloy based on copper and silicon, having formula I CuSi, wherein x and y are atomic percentages with 25&#x2266;x&#x2266;60, 40&#x2266;y&#x2266;75 and x+y&#x2267;95%, in order to assemble at least one part made of a porous carbon material with at least one part made of a copper-rich metal material.
