Printable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and sealing material containing same

A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, wherein the storage elastic modulus &lsqb;G&prime;&rsqb; at room temperature is at least 2&times;10,dyne/cm,and the adhesive strength at room temperature is 1 kg/20 mm width or higher. Preferably, a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a polymer having a polycarbonate structure having a repeating unit represented by the following formula

Disclosed are (1) an adhesive sheet for printing comprising a layer to be printed having no release coat, and at least an adhesive layer having an adhesive strength of 1 to 5000 gf/50 mm to the layer to be printed, and (2) a label having a heat transfer pattern comprising a heat fixing ink comprising a polyolefin and a colorant on the layer to be printed of the adhesive sheet for printing.

A pattern-forming sheet or label which is so flexible as to be expediently patterned, can provide a heat resistant or chemical resistant pattern to a product to be labeled, and can be subjected to high temperature atmosphere without burning treatment is provided, comprising a bonded laminate of a base layer obtained by shaping a low-melting glass powder into a sheet with a low-temperature decomposable acrylic polymer, and an ink-receptive layer made of a silicone resin layer containing an inorganic powder. Further, a novel label is provided, having a transfer pattern made of an ink containing an inorganic colorant formed on the ink-receptive layer of the pattern-forming sheet.

Pattern-forming sheet and label comprising same

A label substrate comprising an inorganic powder shaped in a sheet form with a silicone resin, an ink comprising a coloring agent and a silicone resin, and a label comprising the label substrate having formed thereon a pattern comprising the ink, are disclosed. The label is flexible, can form a pattern according to circumstances, and can fix onto an article by a low-temperature heating, a pattern having excellent opacifying strength or reflectivity, weather resistance, heat resistance, resistance to chemicals, and the like.

In a printer comprising a printing means for performing printing on a continuous paper in response to a print data and a cutter unit for cutting the continuous paper in the paper width direction upon completion of printing, a printed paper needs to be sorted out easily and clearly depending on jobs. To meet the demand, the printer is provided with a rotary blade and a fixed blade which cut the continuous paper in the paper width direction which crosses perpendicularly to the paper feed direction and it is further provided with a carriage for holding the rotary blade so as to be movable in the paper width direction. The carriage has a shading piece. Sensors are disposed at the position corresponding to the position where the cutting amount of the paper in the paper width direction is set to be smaller than the entire paper width. When the sensors detect the shading piece, the rotary blade stops moving to thereby stop the cutting operation. As a result, the cutting operation with leaving uncut portion at one side of the paper in the paper width direction is performed depending on each job so that the cut papers range per job unit whereby the printed paper of one job is not mixed with other printed papers of other jobs and they can be easily distinguished from one another without resorting to a stacker.

Printer and a method of sorting out and cutting papers printed thereby

A label, and a label sheet and an ink used for the label are disclosed. The label comprises a label sheet comprising an ink-receiving layer comprising a polyolefin having a viscosity average molecular weight of from 5,000 to 6,000,000 as a film-forming component, and heat-transferred patterns comprising an ink comprising a polyolefin having a viscosity average molecular weight of from 5,000 to 300,000 and a coloring agent, formed on the ink-receiving layer.

Label, and label sheet and ink therefor

A center hub holder tape includes a generally nonstretchable carrier tape having a series of apertures formed therethrough and spaced at an equal interval from one another along the length of the carrier tape. A series of center hubs for use in a recording disc are carried by the carrier tape, with their tubular bodies removably inserted in the apertures in the carrier tape, respectively. An adhesive layer is interposed between one side of the carrier tape and a flange around the body of the center hub to adhesively bond them together. The adhesive layer is releaseably bonded to the one side of the carrier tape so that center hub can be removed from the carrier tape together with the adhesive layer.
