A system for harvesting insects from a habitat. The system configured to separate waste, live insects, and dead insects in a manner that the live insects may undergo a first processing procedure and the dead insects may undergo a second processing procedures. For example, the first processing procedure may include processing the insects for human consumption and the second processing procedure may include processing the dead insects for minerals or materials.

Harvesting and incubating systems for cultivation of insects

In some examples, a system may be configured to generating flour having a uniform particle size of less than 100 Microns from whole insects. For example, the may include generating a slurry from whole insects by adding water while blending the whole insects using one or more mixers to generate an insect slurry. In some cases, the water is added to the insect parts to reduce the viscosity and to assist in separating the whole insects into parts. In some cases, the insect slurry may be filtered.

Method and system for spray drying insects

The harvesting platform may be equipped with a watering device and feed delivery device for supplying nutrients to the insect population being cultivated within the room. Method and system for preventing operating system detection

According to one embodiment of the invention, a computerized method for addressing intrusion attacks directed at a computer includes receiving a data stream corresponding to a potential attack on the computer and calculating an event risk rating for the data stream. Calculating the event risk rating includes determining at least one component risk rating. In one embodiment, the component risk ratings are: a signature fidelity rating indicative of the likelihood the potential attack will affect the computer in the absence of knowledge regarding the computer, an attack relevance rating indicative of the relevance of the potential attack to the computer, and a target value rating indicative of the perceived value of the computer. The method also includes responding to the potential attack based on the calculated risk rating.

Method and system for addressing intrusion attacks on a computer system

A processing system wherein a bitmap array is first used to obtain an index. The index is used to obtain a value from an array. A predefined default value is used to improve compression and speed in cases where a single default value is often encountered. In this embodiment the size of each entry in the bitmap array is one bit. In another approach, a bitmap array having two bit entries is provided. The use of two bits allows four different entry values. Two values are used to indicate two different default values. A third value is used for a 'repeat' indicator to when the last-used next-state value should be re-used. The fourth value is used to indicate indexing into a pointer table, similarly to the embodiment using single-bit entries in the bitmap array.
