A device and method for detecting the presence of a target analyte in a fluid sample are provided. The device can include an inclined capillary tube for transporting a sample fluid containing a sample and functionalized magnetic beads. The functionalized magnetic beads capture the target analyte from the sample fluid. A well is coupled with the inclined capillary tube for containing a developer solution and for receiving the sample fluid. In at least one embodiment a magnet is movably attached to the inclined capillary tube for attracting the magnetic beads of the sample fluid and moving the magnetic beads into the well. A calorimeter is disposed adjacent to the well for receiving heat output from a reaction caused by an enzyme reaction associated with the captured target analyte in the developer solution thereby allowing detection and quantification of the target analyte.

Device and method for detecting a target analyte

One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a calorimeter for detecting the presence of a target analyte in a fluid sample. The calorimeter can include a support structure, a hermetically-sealed, thermally decoupled central reaction zone associated with the support structure, at least one droplet transport region, and detection electronics. The at least one droplet transport region can be associated with the support structure and configured to merge a reagent droplet with a sample droplet including the fluid sample to form a reaction droplet in the central reaction zone. The detection electronics can be in electrical and/or thermal communication with the central reaction zone and associated with the support structure. The calorimeter can be configured to detect a heat of reaction produced by a reaction event between the target analyte and a capture reagent upon formation of the reaction droplet.

A forward moving powered cart configured to receive a bundle of roof decking sheets, and which cart rides on the each of three spaced adjacent trusses after being crane lifted onto the said roof trusses. The cart has two sets of spaced casters that ride on the 1and 3truss, while a safety truck on the cart designed to prevent slippage from the two trusses upon which its two sets of casters ride, engages the middle truss of the three. Sheets are removed from the rear for placement and post installation, the cart is moved forwardly an incremental amount.
