A fatty acid composition is provided which can be used to make fatty acid fortified nutritional products. In one embodiment, the fatty acid composition comprises a fatty acid component, inorganic salts (which can include a phosphate salt), vitamins, and optionally a protein source and optionally a carbohydrate source. The composition can further include additional nutrients and combinations thereof. In another embodiment, the fatty acid composition is only the fatty acid (i.e., consists of a sodium or potassium fatty acid) which is spray dried. In both embodiments, the fatty acid composition is not microencapsulated in a waxy or carbohydrate substrate, yet the powdered composition is flowable and is easily dispersible in a liquid to form a stable dispersion in the liquid by stirring or shaking the powder in the liquid for only a short period of time.

Fatty acid composition and method for fortifying nutritional products with fatty acids

A vehicle component with at least two connection points, a structural component that extends between the connection points and rigidly connects them with one another. The structural component comprises at least one insert made of a ductile material and at least two connection zones that support or form the two connection points, at least one of the zones comprises plastic. The structural component comprises at least one intermediate section that connects the two connection zones rigidly to one another and comprises the insert or is formed by the insert, this section is more ductile than at least one of the two connection zones and, in relation to a mechanical overload of the structural component, forms a locally delimited weak-point or region.

A co-salt of a polyunsaturated fatty acid and a non-fatty acid is formed as a precipitate. The co-salt formed is free flowing and does not tend to agglomerate (cake) in storage. The resultant co-salt product will be easy to blend with other products to produce dietary supplements. These novel co-salt products may also tablet very well and may be added to current dietary supplement tablets.

An in-line P-trap chlorinator that ensures water contact with a water-leachable algicide and/or antibacterial tablet while water is flowing through the P-trap, and after the flow of water has stopped. The in-line P-trap chlorinator is inserted in a condensation drain line of an air-conditioning or refrigerating unit to prevent formation of growth from bacteria or algae, which would plug the line, and/or to destroy any such growth already in the line. The inlet to the P-trap chlorinator is above the outlet, to prevent back-migration of harmful and/or corrosive gases, vapors, and/or liquids/mixtures/solutions. The P-trap chlorinator performs and combines the functions of a P-trap and a chlorinator. No additional P-trap is required.

A height adjustable jack piling assembly has a piling with a top and a bottom. A hinge axis is disposed on the top and a bearing plate is disposed at the bottom. A height adjustment mechanism extends upwardly from the bearing plate and through the piling to raise the piling, and the corresponding hinge axis, by operating the height adjustment mechanism from the top. The method includes placing a jack piling assembly and second lower piling, each having a hinge axis, into the earth and operating the height adjustment mechanism of the jack piling assembly to align the hinge axes.

A disposable solid waste detainment plumbing trap. The trap has a container for collecting water and solid waste discharged from a sink through a line threadably connected to an inlet of the container, and for discharging water through an outlet threadably connected to a waste line. It has a lid which seals the container, and a valve for venting either air or water from the container, to relieve the pressure of air trapped in the container. Using this disposable trap, solid waste from a sink can be quickly and easily collected and disposed of without spilling of or contact with water or the solid waste.

Disposable solid waste detainment plumbing trap

A solid-sediment retainment plumbing trap devised primarily for a sink from which substantial amounts of solid material are discharged; e.g., eyeglass manufacture and dental plastic grinders. The plumbing trap is connected to the sink, and collects sediment in a bottle having a fill line. When sediment collecting in the bottle reaches the fill line, the bottle is exchanged for a similar bottle, and the plumbing trap is once again in service. Because the bottle is connected to the rest of the trap by threads, bottle exchange is rapid and easy.

Radiation cured peelable film useful as a surgical drape or wound dressing includes a copolymer of a vinyl monomer and an acrylate capped polyurethane prepolymer. The cured film may be prepared by casting a mixture of the vinyl monomer, prepolymer and a photoinitiator onto a surface as a liquid film and exposing the liquid film to ultraviolet light.

Superfly game apparatus includes a simulated building structure having four side walls and a roof. A scaffold is carried by each side wall and a simulated helicopter is rotatably carried by the roof. A set of playing pieces is provided each of which is configured to represent a human figure and each of which is positionable at various elevational levels along a corner of the simulated building structure. Each of the corners of the simulated building structure are given retaining elements cooperable with the playing pieces for retaining such pieces. The game apparatus also includes elements which are manually operable to impart vertical movement to the playing pieces to move the pieces upwardly along the corners of the structure.

Superfly game apparatus

A surfboard which is convertible from unpowered to motorized condition by the selective movement of a motor mounted in the elongated buoyant float member. Movement of the motor along the longitudinal axis of the float member does not substantially alter the floatation characteristics of the surfboard. Hand grip elements and a windshield are detachably connectable to the float member for use by the surfboard rider in a prone position during motorized operation.
