The present invention provides a connecting terminal for connecting a wire, including: a body; a clip portion extending from both sides of the body and configured to hold a conductor of a wire; and a fixing part extending from both sides of the body, including: a clamping part configured to clamp an insulating layer of the wire; and a stopping part formed on the clamping part and configured to abut the terminal position assurance device to enable the connecting terminal to be fixed in the housing when the connecting terminal is mounted in the housing of the connecting assembly. Since the fixing part has both a clamping part for clamping the wire and a stopping part forming an appropriate height difference with the wire, the connecting terminal provided by the present invention becomes more compact and miniaturized.

A connector housing includes a body defining an accommodating channel sized to receive a pin terminal, and a blocking structure formed in the accommodating channel and positioned to prevent a bent portion of a pin terminal from rebounding.

A conductive terminal adapted to be installed in an insulative housing of a connector comprises a mating portion located at a front of the terminal for engaging with a terminal of a mating connector, and a crimping portion located at a rear of the terminal for crimping to a wire. A blocking portion of the terminal is located between the mating portion and the crimping portion and engages with the insulative housing to constrain the movement of the conductive terminal in the housing in a longitudinal direction and in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.

A connector comprises a housing having at least a pair of legs extending from a bottom thereof, and at least one conductive terminal arranged in the housing. Each of the legs includes a body connected to the bottom of the housing and extending downward in a height direction of the housing. A conical guide is connected to a lower end of the body of each leg for guiding the leg into a hole formed in a circuit board. A positioning end is connected to a lower end of the conical guide of each leg and includes a positioning surface extending in the height direction for contacting an inner wall of the hole.
