A bonding apparatus includes a movable light guide, a first capture, a second capture, a detector, an aligner, and a mover. When the movable light guide is positioned between a chip and a board, an image of the chip is made incident from a first incident port and emitted from a first emission port, and an image of a bonding position of the board is made incident from a second incident port and emitted from a second emission port. The first capture images the image of the chip emitted from the first emission port. The second capture images the bonding position emitted from the second emission port. The detector detects a relative positional deviation of the chip and the bonding position. The aligner relatively moves a bonding tool and a stage. The mover advances and retreats the movable light guide.

Bonding apparatus

In a component pressing head which holds a component with a component holding tool provided at one end of a shaft member, rotates the component around an axis of the shaft member and presses the component in an axial direction of the axis, a first voice coil motor and a second voice coil motor are disposed between a upper plate and a lower plate so as to sandwich the shaft member from opposite sides thereof, so that a load is transmitted to the shaft member from the lower plate that is coupled to movable magnet holding portions of these two voice coil motors.

Vibration wave motor

In a vibration motor in which an electro-mechanical energy conversion element which is periodically deformed is joined to an elastic member to constitute a vibration member, a travelling vibration wave is generated in the vibration member, and the vibration member and a contact member which is urged against the vibration member are relatively moved by the vibration wave, a plurality of contact portions are formed on a portion of the elastic member on a driving side at predetermined intervals, and when the contact portions are engaged with the contact member, the relative movement between the vibration member and contact member is caused by the vibration wave.

A vibration wave motor has a movable member; a molded elastic member having a surface with projections formed thereon for urging the movable member; and a piezoelectric member arranged in contact with the elastic member to apply vibration to the elastic member and produce a travelling vibration wave in the surface of the elastic member.

In a vibration wave driven motor wherein an AC electric field is applied to an electro-mechanical energy conversion element secured to an elastic member to thereby excite a plurality of standing waves differing in phase from each other in the elastic member and a travelling wave is formed in the elastic member by the combination of the standing waves, whereby a member which is in pressure contact with the elastic member and the elastic member are moved relative to each other by a frictional force, provision is made of means for making the contact pressure on the surface of contact between the elastic member and the member which is in pressure contact with the elastic member non-uniform, and means for making the dynamic rigidity of a vibration member non-uniform in an unnecessary vibration mode created by the means for making the contact pressure non-uniform, whereby the occurrence of noise is prevented by simple and inexpensive means.

Vibration wave driven motor

A supporting device supports a vibrating body or contacting member at one or plural locations in a vibration wave driven motor in which the aforesaid vibrating body is caused to generate traveling waves when an alternating current is applied to the electromechanical energy transducing element connected to the vibrating body thereby to move relatively the aforesaid vibrating body and the contacting member being in contact therewith under pressure. This supporting device is provided with a first supporting member which extends in the direction substantially perpendicular to the traveling direction of the traveling vibration wave, one end of which is coupled to the aforesaid vibrating body or contacting member, and a second supporting member which extends in the traveling direction of the traveling vibration wave, one end of which is coupled to the other end of the aforesaid first supporting member and the other end of which is connected to a fixing portion, thus making it possible to support the vibration wave driven motor reliably without any loss of vibrating energy.

The present invention provides a vibration wave driven motor or actuator in which a discontinuous coupling member is provided between a vibration member and a load to be driven by a movable element. The coupling member blocks undesirable travelling wave to decrease the noise and prevent the lowering of the output.

An anti-movement device is provided to contact the vibration member at a pitch not equal to a multiple of n.lambda./2, where n is an integer and .lambda. is the wavelength of a vibration wave so that the vibration member is prevented from rotating without reducing the drive efficiency of the motor.
