There are provided a method of detecting dispensed quantity in which without the need of detecting a surface of liquid accommodated in a container, a liquid quantity can be detected only by measuring pressure change; and a relevant liquid suction monitoring dispensing apparatus. There is provided a method of detecting dispensed quantity for detection of the quantity of liquid suctioned and discharged by a dispensing apparatus including a pipette tip, a liquid suctioning/discharging mechanism for the pipette tip, a pressure sensor capable of detecting the pressure within the pipette tip, and a lifting and lowering mechanism for the pipette tip, which method comprises: an insertion step for inserting a distal end of the pipette tip down to the deepest zone of a container accommodating liquid to be measured; a suction pressure measuring step for without moving of the pipette tip, while suctioning the liquid into the pipette tip at a predetermined suctioning rate, measuring any pressure change during the suctioning; and a suction detecting step for on the basis of pressure change measured, determining the state of suction. Further, there is provided a liquid suction monitoring dispensing apparatus capable of practicing this method.

The present invention provides a clathrate compound characterized by containing: a polymolecular host compound as a host compound; and an agricultural chemical active ingredient having a saturated solubility in water at 25&#xb0; C. of not less than 500 ppm as a guest compound. The present invention also provides a method for controlling the concentration of an aqueous agricultural chemical active ingredient solution, characterized by containings a step of including an agricultural chemical active ingredient having high saturated solubility in an interior space formed of a polymolecular host compound, thereby maintaining the saturated solubility of the agricultural chemical active ingredient in water within a predetermined concentration range. The present invention also provides an agricultural chemical formulation containing the clathrate compound. The present invention also provides an agricultural active composition containing the clathrate compound and a synthetic pyrethroid.

The present invention has an object to provide curatives for epoxy resins and curing accelerators for epoxy resins, which both have improved subliming and decomposing properties and which, when mixed with an epoxy resin, enable the mixture to be greatly improved in thermal stability that is extremely important for the control of a curing reaction and to have a prolonged pot life (stability as a one-pack mixture comprising the epoxy resin, curative, etc.) and improved curability at low temperatures. The curative is characterized by being a clathrate comprising a tetrakisphenol compound represented by a general formula (I), wherein X represents (CH)n, wherein n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, and Rto Reach represents hydrogen, a lower alkyl, optionally-substituted phenyl, halogeno or a lower alkoxy, and the curing accelerator is characterized by being a clathrate comprising a tetrakisphenol compound represented by the general formula (I) shown above and a compound accelerating the curing of a compound which reacts with the epoxy group of an epoxy resin to cure the resin.
